Numbers 5 | Numbers 6 | John 4:1-30 | Psalms 26
Hey guys I hope you had an amazing Friday. Mine has been good. As you might know I have been in Columbus, Ohio since yesterday and it has been incredible. I kind of had to pinch myself a few times because I could not believe that I was at the Arnold Sports festival. I said this on Wednesday, but God has been so good to me. I have been able to accomplish things and meet people that I never thought I would ever get to meet. It surely was fun, but it can get exhausting.
I kind of must keep this short and sweet today and I did not want to write anything today. Today I read a lot in the bible, but what really caught my attention was the story of Jesus and the Samaritan women. If you have never read it, I encourage you to take five minutes to read it. It is found in the book of John 4:1-30. I love Jesus’ boldness with this lady. He broke all standards and pushed against the limits in this conversation to make sure that this lady understood who he was and what his purpose was in this earth and for her life. I love how Jesus’ pushes against the grain to make sure that this woman understood who he was.
I am so thankful that I serve a God that pursues me, a God that wants me and a God that will do whatever it takes to get me where I need to be – both externally and internally. Do you understand that? There is a God that is passionate about you and that will continue to pursue you no matter how far off you continue to go. His mercy is unending and his love is unfailing. There are so many messages that I could unpack in this passage, but I am going to keep it simple today.
God right now is pursuing you and wants you to be with him. God will not stop until he has your heart. No matter how far you may feel, he is closer than you will ever know. Take hold of what he brings and wants to do in your life. This is your time.
